Unknown Truths
Your tears fall,
When there’s no one there.
And you’re wishing you could end it all,
‘cause life just isn’t fair.
And you wish you could hide,
Become someone else.
Broken down by your truths taken as lies,
And your pain is never felt,
by those who don’t care.
And your truths mean nothing just like before,
So you take it with a blank stare.
You’re just so sore,
And you’ve had enough.
Others can’t see through your false smile,
Put there to hide your pain.
And all the meanwhile,
Your blood became a stain.
Your truths mean nothing,
And they’re shot down.
You keep telling yourself stop fronting,
‘cause you’re smile masks a frown.
