the anger of the pen
same as it was then
a place to release the pent up rage
express it on the page
stab them with your words
hurt them with the truth
although these words usually come out with vermouth
and these words may never have been heard
and a word is just a word
stick and stones may break your bones
but anyone can throw
it’s those who use words that know
