I am in love
My secret
Kept in my heart
Like a locket
Closed with a click
And yet it seems
Blatant
Flagrant
In every one of my movements
Every expression on my face
I am in love,
I shout
But who sees?
Who knows?
None but me
How can it be
So large
Within me?
Spreading like the sky
Bursting into song
Yet silent
If you looked closely,
In the flight of my hands
The breath in my pounding chest
The slight curve of my lips
If you cared
You would see
I am in love
