It seems as if we are always told
to conform to society’s grips and holds

We follow the crowds, we hide who we are
For the fear that the exposure would leave a scar

Those who dare to veer from the path
Will undoubtedly suffer society’s wrath

Yet as the time meanders on
The “weird ones” the “nerds” will soon sing their songs

The oppressed will soon rise
And ultimately become society’s demise

For all they truly have to fear
Is the uprising of the unusual and the queer.
