Life’s full of contradictions.
We pray for rain,
but when rain comes we complain.
“It’s too cold.”
“It’s too wet.”
“I hate rain. I want it to be warm.”
So God grants us the gift of sunshine.

but people complain,
“It’s too hot.”
“We need shade.”
“Why can’t it rain?”

The sun stops shining and the clouds come out.
“Where’s the sun?”
“It’s too cold and dreary.”
“I want nice weather.”

Why can’t we appreciate these gifts God gives us?
