Lately I've been mesmerized with my scars,
or maybe it's the words that have me so drawn to my scars,
you see I wasn't a cutter,
I was an author,
using my skin as a page and a razor as a pen,
only the most important words are written in red,
which in this case is all of them,
each word I carved is a story,
making my body a series,
a gruesome story so horrifying,
yet you are unable to put it down,
so maybe that's why I've been so enamored by my scars lately,
because of my love of words,
and how they create stories,
but in reality,
I'm so grateful that this one,
this novel,
this series,
is completed.
It is finished.
