Favorite Quote:
"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life."

In trusting you, I find power.

I find the strength to shine and the courage to stand out.

In trusting you, I see that I am really not alone.

I see you're there for me, and I am grateful.

Life will try to drag me down with the curveballs it throws at me,

But I realize I don't need to carry the pain by myself.

I find that with each passing day,

I have someone to help make the struggles bearable.

I know I've got some work to do when it comes to finding peace,

And I understand that I will have to face a long uphill battle.

But in trusting you, I hope,

You won't let me fight it alone.

It isn't easy being part of mdoern society,

And sometimes it seemes I've had enough. Then I stop and wonder what I'd do

If I wasn't trusting you.

I wrote this poem because it reminds me that God is there for me, and I hope others can see that, too.
