The fast, slick, and graceful
Sting ray gliding through the water
I stick my hand in the blue
as they come I feel the slimy skin
as the glide by I feel their graceful fins
but then they splash water droplets
everywhere and I’m all wet, a flurry
of sand flies as they touch the bottom
And as the sand settles again the ray is gone
Fast and sleek. Cool and slimy.
