Sabrina
I never could fathom such a winter day,
bones so cold, they froze.
Flakes fall, spring draws
Yet winter seems endless, unlike
The fall.
Brief weeks of change and color
Hail the bitter of eastern end.
I did not see this in the west,
On the other side of the river.
She felt paradise in her last breath,
Unable to shake her shiver.
