ON FIRE!

Fuming, bleeding, running
The edge of the world
Is red on fire
A golden sphere
Sinks beneath the earth
Dragging the clouds
And the sky down with it

Strip of purple
The sky fighting
Against the sun
Melting away
Beyond a twisting canyon
Sunset

WOAH. A lot of people write cliches about sunsets, but this is by far the most unique and best description I've seen so far. Good job!

To love is to be vulnerable; Triumph is born out of struggle; We notice shadows most when they stand alone in the midst of overwhelming light.

I can't believe no-one has commneted on this yet. But I love your poem. A first, I was wondering if this poem was a building or person fire, but then I was pleasantly surprised. This is such a vivid and descriptive poem. Keep writing, please. And I hope to read more of your poems. I love your poem because it has nature. Thank you for sharing this!
