Shadow man

It was just a shadow,
A shadow of a man,
He stood and stared,
From the other side of the room,
He would sit and watch,
the beauty on the bed,
while she would dream her dreams,
She say him once,
Eyes that pierced her,
He knew she couldn’t live,
A shadow he was supposed to stay never seen,
Now the shadow man wipes a knife clean.
