Falling
My eyelids are slowly falling
But your words are out there calling
For my ear to listen
To the woes that have you shaken
You draw me in
With every tale
Every spark
That spills from your lips
And I wonder
How I got here
How I got in such a bliss
You see my eyelids
Aren’t the only things falling tonight
I may be too
So get the bandaids ready
Because scrapes will inevitably come too.
