Who Knows Why I Like You
Who knows why I like you,
We can rule out many things-
Your annoyingness,
Your need to talk
of whatever your thoughts bring.
Your temper tantrums make me sick,
and your drama is just as boring,
I really would rather kick you now
than listen to your story.
You seem to think that you alone suffer for the world,
Yet again you’ve proven to me you are my only world.
How the hell did you manage that? You insane,
Ill, Human Being.
I care for you
and care for you
and receive so little in return.
Of course I get your smile-
and your touch is oh so nice,
But what I really need is someone to tell me
it’s alright.
I care for you I do,
and don’t ever think I don’t care,
But if you see me roll my eyes or hear me snap at you,
Do what you always do-
Grovel and apologize,
and tell me-
‘I worship you’.
