Be Better

It's hard to see all the good things in you,
when society is telling you other wise,
but nothing is ever new,
because this world is built on lies
to get people to believe that being perfect is the answer,
to look like that girl,
to be that boy,
but it's never that easy,
or we would all be doing it,
so I will stick with being me,
because eventually it won't matter.

I am saying that it is hard to be youself in a society that is all built on the way someone looks rather than the personality that is on the inside. So in I guess I am saying that.

You are pretty much saying that there are people now that everyone tries to be like and then they start to lie about themselves.
