Her auric hair gleamed brighter by
the glow of his
smile,
and if his touch burnt a little too
hot, still
she did not flinch
even when his thumb went to caress
her lips,
and curled into a fist
instead;
he told her the purple looked lovely
next to her gold-
spun
curls.
