We Can Play Forever
We can play forever
Under this tree
And splash in the river
Wherever it may be.
Watch the sun set
And the moon rise,
Only to see both back in place
Instead of a lovely demise.
That if sleep hangs in our eyes
And stays there for all time,
I spent it with my cherished ones
And made right all my crimes.
We can play forever
Under this tree,
Whose leaves blow gently
And hold us in the end
Eternally.
