Loving Friend
Where we saw rope, she saw a way to change lives.
She tied us together, making as all want to try.
Lied too, we all were unsure and a little shy
Where we deceived, she told us not to lie.
She was always close, never afraid to pry.
Cried for us, her tears fell like rain from the sky.
Where we were lost, she would lend us a warm embrace.
She would stay as long as needed, and later call, just in case.
Hurt, we came together, opening our hearts, feeling in place.
Where we would moan or groan, she always had a smile on her face.
She always would put on a show, always having us keep pace.
Hides the daily sadness and ache, helped us run the race.
Where she was always helping, it came to our surprise.
She had a face touched by ice, the harsh eyes scarred into our minds.
Tied up in our own time, we never expected what we would find.
Where we saw rope, she saw a way to change lives.
She tied us together, but she never wanted to try.
Lied too, we all were unsure, and left wondering why.
Where we were deceived, she was the one who lied.
We all tried, she was the one who had wanted to die.
Cried over someone who deserved more than a goodbye.
Where we all had needed help, she gave a silent cry.
She saw a rope, and chose to change our lives.
Died and hung, leaving her life to be forever unsung.
