Mourning the loss of yet another,
again questioning our heavenly father,
In his book we are told, things will happen as life unfolds.
Alot of which will not make sense,
but fall to our knees we must commence
We are to drop to a kneel and ask forgiveness,
from a god that at times may seem worthless

Faith is a hard virtue to swallow,
In a man or being that can be so shallow
A god of good and all things great,
But can’t come down and tell it to us straight
His word asks me to believe and follow,
once again all of this becomes too hard to swallow

Trust and me and i’ll be your light,
no thank you sir i’ll brave the night
Left to mourn and ask questions why,
seems like all thats left to do is shiver and cry
Your book says you are there for me to lean,
for anything necessary that we may dream

Just answer my question is all i ask,
why, his life, so young so fast
you ask me to have faith and believe
but for this pain offer no reprieve

i still believe in your cause and love
but your blows should be softer from up above
help me to heal and help me to grieve
and once again lord, in you i will believe!
