Love is like candy
It can be like a day on a beach that’s very sandy
Love and candy can be sweet or soured
The taste can always be devoured.

Sometimes the food can be too good and you over eat
Just like with love it can be very persuading and sweet
There are so many types of candy just like love
And the looks can look like they come from above

Sometimes people can poison candy
Just like in a relationship but that can still be very handy
Sometimes people aren’t meant to be together
And it can be like days or years with bad weather.

Some candies stay around forever and never die
Just like love when you say to your lover you will never say goodbye
Sometimes there is such thing as love at first sight
And that love can be good forever and stay so bright
