Abnormal love
When I heard the notes of your being,
it was scattered around,
like a toddler doing an improv on the piano.
So hard and unromantic, not knowing what you were doing and why you were even here
but even through that,
I felt captured by your being.
For you represented an unknown spirit
that walked among the children driven by technology,
and you held a certain amount of innocence in the way your eyes stared into the room
and I was bitten,
by the unknown creature that held my attention and with who I felt a connection
- lost and unfound, uncertain and dazed by what people expect and what we are -
You, the clumsy child with words that seem like mismatched notes of an orchestra,
attracted me so,
that I felt a new love for things
that were abnormal.
