photograph
I picture you
in every twinkling star,
in every smiling face,
in every good dream,
and every sleepless night.
I picture you
when you take my hand
and hold it on every coaster
and mountain climb.
you hold me and hug me tight
be it cold or boiling hot
because i'd savor any second
in which i can hold you.
Where you pull me close
and plant your warm lips
on my forehead and
i smile because you're all mine.
The one thing i am not able to picture,
though,
is the day i am brave enough
to tell you that
i picture you.
