Destined to Guilt
It begins at the error of birth
when hindsight is 20/20 and you can't even open your eyes.
And when misbehavior tickled, no one told me
Just watched and knew, as they’ve always known,
but no one told me.
Since then I’ve stayed alone in the spotlight
Correcting mistakes that nobody even remembers
Contorting myself
Conforming myself,
as I might have practiced my whole youth
had I been informed. Constantly self condemned
though the gavel was dropped from the sky
landing with an anthem of opaque concern
humanity is not human, but a collection of the same sin
we are all a proprietorship of dishonor,
but a facade of supremacy
and my brick local,
so ignorant, destined to guilt.
