Daisies for Innocence
Rose vines piercing skin
Daisies sprouting in the dried pool of blood
Ivy weaving itself around the ribs
Lilac growing through the palms
Feeling it happening
But unable to open my eyes
Because where my eyes once where
Sunflowers now grow
Tied to this body
And the earth.
Wanting nothing more than to let go.
Died in youth
With much love still in my heart
Lavender blooms from my fingertips.
