Looks like loving was the clear-
colored hell
smeared on your
corduroy couch

I’d never felt
beautiful
until you told me
so I was hit

in the chest
took a fist down
my throat red
was in my eyes

Color me clear
Color me gone
with what
was in the water bottles.
