She says nothing at all
Her gaze fixed at the white wall
She is not dumb
But her sorrow has made her numb
Many come to caress
None can relieve her stress
Never does she shout or wail
But has a look ;so pale
Her friends party set up camps
While she stares at the flickering lamp
Is she a loner or someone so ill-tempered?
Or maybe a girl to pampered
Her eyes look hypnotized
All these things because she is paralyzed
Remembers her days when she would run, skip, hop
Now her tears don't stop
Her fire will now extinguish
I pray for her spirit ti replenish
Many write about a broken heart
But this is a damaged brain -the most important body part

Favorite Quote:
“When it's over, I want to say: all my life
I was a bride married to amazement.
I was the bridegroom, taking the world into my arms.

When it is over, I don't want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.
I don't want to find myself sighing and frightened,
or full of argument.

I don't want to end up simply having visited this world.”

I love you writing style , Hrish. I am typically sucks in rhyming stuff in tandem to conveying the message but you did it flawlessly! Keep it on!
