Dark Eyes

Rushing forward
is the dullness
that comes with
the walk
through the hallway
I search for his eyes,
only to catch a glimpse
of them raised
towards me.
They hold
no excitement,
nor wonder;
I would say
the eyes looking
back at me are
hollow,
bout that isn't true.
The dark eyes
of the boy I search for
are full
with the dullness
of the hallway.
