Ode to my Cat

Your fur is so soft, white and grey
You’re a fun kitty, you love to play
I throw you a toy mouse,
And you chase it all through the house
Sometimes you’re very nosy,
But you make it up to me by being so cozy
You make me feel better when I’m down
You’re the best kitty, you deserve a crown
When you get grumpy, you start to bite
But I know you’re sorry when you come lay in my bed at night
You’re more than just a cat, you’re my friend
I wish your life never had to end
