A Poem I Wrote When It Was Midnight And I Was Sad

Loneliness is being nobody’s first choice
Loneliness is being so far away from okay
and having no one to make it better
Loneliness is knowing that if you did not exist
the world would just keep on spinning
because that’s what it does
it spins
and it doesn't waste a damn thought on you
because you are so
worthless
and small
and alone
and you don’t matter to anyone.
