The raven is here
The banshee has screamed
Silence has fallen

The gun shots have ceased
The knife has dropped
The hands have left the throat
Water has left me
Breathless

Ropes sway side to side in the wind
You’re losing altitude
Viruses torture your body
The disease has taken over

Scream all you want
Only silence will listen
