when a stranger says hello I feel like my
eyes are too intense in
response

and I'm sorry that my "how do you do?"
has so
much weight

It's because I've decided to stop
existing day to day
and I've noticed how much you hate small
talk anyways

and if I stare too long,
forgive me

I'm probably just trying to decide if
one day you'll
matter
