Embrace the Dawn
I want you to know that I love you,
Because I may not live till tomorrow,
Death may come for me, it will take you to,
So know I love you, never feel sorrow.
Someday soon, I will depart from this world,
Those who love me, don't grow bitter from loss,
We all pass, our legacy unfurls,
Don't hate death, love and life must have cost.
My love will live on with each of you,
Don't let my death be reason for sorrow,
Love something else, and love it just as true,
Their isn't time, death could come tomorrow.
Sorrow is love lost, telling us move on,
To forgive ourselves, and embrace the dawn.
