You're Here
You’re here.
A place of endless space where your heart starts to race.
Where the monsters grin in sin,
With jagged claws on mighty paws and unhinging jaws,
To swallow you down, without a sound and no one's around.
To hear you scream, or even seem, concerned with telling you it’s just a dream,
And now you’re dead, no life, instead left only with the delusions running rampant in your head.
You feel so alone.
Alone in the dark with no one to hold,
Alone where the shadows leave you shaking and cold,
Alone where the wind whispers your name,
Alone were nothing will ever be the same.
Except their creeping and their crawling,
Your weeping and bawling,
The reaping and calling,
They’re keeping you falling,
Down,
Down,
Down,
You’re falling so fast,
But soon the falling is past,
When you reach the ground, you have your last,
Your last second, last thought, last ill-minded musing,
Your last chance to ask why? Why is this all so confusing?
Why were you left in that place of endless space,
Where the monsters grinned in sin,
With their claws, paws, and jaws?
Why were you left alone in the dark?
Why is everyone leaving their mark?
On your heart, so tortured, so stretched and so weak.
Why have the done this, is there no pity for the meek?
Why you?
Why should you have to ask why?
Why does it have to be your turn to die?
Thats not what you wanted, you just wanted a chance,
To feel lambent and free, to romp and to dance,
To escape from the shadows, and acquire your light.
To find hope in desolation, to live in day and not night,
So you left the others and you fled the cage,
But that left all the others in fits of mad rage.
Now you’re here,
You are here.
I am so sorry my friend,
But you are here,
You have reached,
You’re everlasting end.
