smells like
freshly waxed wood ready to be ruined
tastes like
ice cold water and a dry mouth and a lump in your throat
sounds like
the crowd roaring in the stands, cheering you on
feels like
your teammates slapping your back
feels like
an earthquake coming from the stands
feels like
you've accomplished a life-long dream
make my
parents be ever so proud
make my
ball go into the basket
