One Voice
There are a thousand words to describe sad
Blue, desparing, melancholy, morose
Each word I use is a personal fad
But feelings come in a near lethal dose
How dare I think one word can describe life?
One word cannot show what I feel inside
One word cannot tell the story of my strife
But from these feelings I refuse to hide
I want to scream out to the darkest night
I’m important and I’m standing right here
To bring out the sun, I will surely fight
In this struggle for liife I show no fear
Melancholy hurts worse than any bruise
This battle I cannot afford to lose
