Predictions
The fire used to burn so very brightly
My passion ran high.
Then changes I noticed so very slightly.
Made me feel I was a lie.
My fire burned, and now it's barely kept going.
I can feel it slipping away.
Slowly death follows, darkness consuming.
My fire burning astray
Barely kept lit by all that I can do
Burning myself so the fire can continue
Only if you understood what you already knew.
I'm the killer of all the happiness, not you.
But I can't help but feel
My fire isn't the only one in danger of going out
On both my knees I kneel
And ask you to tell me what you're thinking about
I can scream and I can shout
I will end up slipping away silently
I won't be missed or fussed about
I won't linger in your heart for eternity
It's going, going away
Second by second, a month fit into a single day
You stay where you stay
I shall move and go where I may
My fire burning so low,
It's playing with my judgment and toying with my heart
It reminds me how little I actually know
I need somewhere to start
I want to stay
Let the fuel run through my veins
Lay where I lay
Wash away the pain and the blood red stains
Let the fuel run,
Let the fire consume
Let’s burn it all and hope for fun
Then wait and anticipate for my doom
