All I wanted
Was to save a life.
A life that needed salvaging.
Some attention, some emotion,
And some trust couldn't possibly hurt.
But what happens
When it is built on trust
And the trust is lost?
When the trust is tried with love
To no avail?
I tried to control something
When we were never meant
To control at all.
When I become
The worst scenario.
When I become
The impossible.
When one hollow soul
Becomes two.
When one broken heart
Leads two lost minds.
And all because
I wanted to save a life.
Only now do I realize
There are two lives needing saved.
