Madness
The darkness thickens
around my broken heart
Suffocates my sadness
I slowly fall apart
Madness, it seems
Has taken over me
And the throbbing in my chest
Is an irregular heartbeat
All that is left is numbness
From the wasteland inside
I crawl on my stomach
And hide behind the stars
Why do I feel
The words that cut
Why can't I feel
Those scars on my arm
I'm in love with my madness
Crazy in sadness
happy with anxiety
depressed with depression
Drowning in my blood.
