Grandmother
*Grandmother
“What a pitty that youth must be wasted on the young”,
My grandmother always said,
But I always took it as I was different instead,
I would climb right in her bed,
And pretend that I was asleep,
Until she would see me playing dead,
I loved her and she loved me,
And that would never change,
Even as she rest in peace for God has set her free.
