Broken Glass
My tears are not those of sorrow
My tears are slivers of glass
They are evidence of something precious being broken
My heart is a window
It opens to some but closes to others
Too many people damage it
One day it shatters leaving my heart to be nothing
Nothing but shattered remnants of was once referred to as precious but now just pieces
Broken pieces that are of no use to anyone anymore
