Twist it
The Best year's of a teenagers life
is before they become a teenager.
before the transition from
thinking there wasn't a worry to have in the world
because there was nothing wrong with it,
to knowing almost everything in the world
leads you to worry,
Because there isn't much perfectness in it.
As a child if you lived and had a normal childhood
without abuse, rape and all the things that make people
eventually go insane,
You know that your life was a constant fairytale,
in the childhood moment you didn't think you were living a fairy-tail
but as you go deeper and farther along in life, you seems to see
That you somehow lost the trail, and drifted from your child fairytale.
As a child if you lived and had a normal childhood
without having to worry if you maybe might have food next week,
or worry about the rain because you don't have roof over your head
and all the things that steal the dance and rhythm from a person's heart,
and sunshine from their eyes,
Then you know that everything was fuzzy with innocents,
The comments that your mother, father, people in general said about other people
or the children of those people went unnoticed,
but as you become better with listening and noticing,
you'll never stop, you'll see what the old jokes your
father whispered to you uncle, while your
mother's back was turned meant. then you will
be able to see and understand them crystal clear,
it's so pronounced that it stains you.
As a child if you lived and had a normal childhood,
Without going through a rough and dramatic family divorce,
or having to run home without even having the chance, of noticing the blooming flower
because you were scared the bullies would catch you again
then you know that laughter was as common as blinking
you never thought it would disappear because you never noticed it there,
but as you see the world in new colours, particularly if you see them in black, white
and gray, then you'll miss the laugher of your childhood summers,
you'll look into the mirror and wear a weak smile and hope to god
that a random laughter would come running out
and continue for another mile, like when you were a child
and when it does one day come out and leave a sweat trail of happiness
then you will,
you will
with all the might god bestowed in you
you will grab it and twist it
twist it
twist it
and twist it some more
so that it won't escape you,
but sometimes when your
high on happiness
you become careless
and let the punches of life,
and the scratches of evil words
knock you to the cold, bitter, and hard ground.
and you'll lay around,
you'll lay until one day
you feel so silly about laying around
that a random laughter will coming running
out and continue for another mile,
and let me tell you you will
With all the might god bestowed in you,
grasp it and twist it
twist it
twist it
and twist it some more.
