I am just trying to keep it all together

because I don't want you to go

there

but you have to

for a few long months

of desert sand

and green tanks

guns will ring

flames will rise

and crys will fill the air

I'll just wait here

for you to come

home

if its in your fatigues

or a flag draped coffin
