stare at the wall
pour your life
into your hands
you feel the world
crumble
walls are rebuilt
life reset
the flowers bud
the snow falls
the trees leap
fauns play
feelings flood
your only escape
closing your hands
trees burn
flowers wilt
snow melts
fauns sicken
thoughts meld
a molten mass
your face steaming
crying
screaming
fists connect
with the padded walls
white tiled halls
sick smell
needles
feeding
needing
treatment
hurting
I step from my spot
a seat among the living
spilling
willing
dropping the ball
I stand tall
standing up
digging myself
from the deep rut
I put myself in
