EXCITEMENT
Chitter, Chatter everywhere.
Up in the attic and down the stairs.
Smiles on faces lighting up the day.
Not in one place could anyone stay.
“She’s almost here!” one person cried
And I tried to stay calm. I tried!
But oh, the excitement in the house couldn’t even calm a tiny mouse.
The nurse came out, she held a baby.
Could it be the cause of the excitement?
Maybe?
“It’s a daughter!” She said “You’re very lucky.”
Really? Really? Is this tiny thing so lucky?
I wondered... But before I got the answer,
My father gave me the baby and my lips made a beautiful smile like the dance of a dancer.
‘So this is the cause for such commotion.’
I thought as I gave my father some lotion.
WHAT DO YOU KNOW? WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED?
That the excitement was because of our special little guest.
