“Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing.”
― George Orwell, 1984

"Nobody?"

Here you
hear you.

It understood you.
You understood it.
“It”. You understood.

You now said, “Laugh.”
You said, “Now laugh.”
“Laugh now,” you said.
Said now, you laugh.

In the clearing, it screams.
It screams in the clearing.
In the screams, clearing it,
The clearing screams in it;
In it: the clearing screams.

No one could see it too.
No, one could see it too?
See it. No… Could one too?
To see? Could one know it?
To know it, one could see.
One could see. Two know it.

"One, two, three,
My friend loves me.
Four, five, six,
It is made of sticks."

“She seems so cool, so focused, so quiet, yet her eyes remain fixed upon the horizon. You think you know all there is to know about her immediately upon meeting her, but everything you think you know is wrong. Passion flows through her like a river."

This is probably one of the most amazing, thought-provoking poems I have ever read.
