Light Swtich
Light afloat, the sun it shines,
cheering on the sidelines, arms held high.
Light appearing like twinkling stars.
Worn and smudged like old school tile,
a click when darkness envelopes as a rival.
Out of mind, in camouflage it hides,
rusting and cracking with use overtime.
Still smooth, as it pops up again,
light afloat, the sun again.
