He'll Never Know
Love is falling apart
All around me
And I can't believe I didn't see
This coming sooner
I didn't see the signs
I couldn't read between the lines
And now we're all tears
That's what we get
For having such high hopes
I should've kept my heart locked up
Shouldn't have worn it on my sleeve
Like a fool
I was certain he wouldn't leave
I still can't believe
I just stayed there
Like a sitting duck
I was a target for heartbreak
He was a master at heartache
And he doesn't even know
Now I'm just another
'Another'
My new label
Can't even say my own name
I'm just another heart he owns
And he doesn't even know
He won't ever see these scars
This burden I now carry with me
He'll never know the pain
The pain he will never see
We're all just beautiful fools
Things that will just get used
And abused
Our hearts will only get bruised
And they'll never even know
