Sunfall
So what if I’m depressed?
Well you are too
So let’s go watch the sun fall from the sky
Sit down, wouldn’t bother wonderin why
Tilt up those lips for just a moment
Pretend it’s okay for the dancers
Hold- don’t let them see it true
Just me and you
We’ll hide it in the moonlight
Wait til they’ve gone and said goodnight
Hush now; your insides are black and blue
Burnt by a flame we all once knew
Come on then, pass it around
Hush now; don’t make a sound
Now they’re up and awake
Put it out, for your own sake
Feel it around your throat?
Good; we all do now
Familiar like a sunfall…
