Walls

I build up these walls around my heart,
No one can tear them down, they wouldn't know where to start.
I am content with being alone,
after all, it's the only feeling I've ever known.
They try to feed me all these broken lies,
But I see the truth through tear filled eyes.
Once you fall you'll always feel the pain,
Once you shatter you'll never be the same.
