Two towers,

Standing with pride,

When destructed,

America cried.

We were so blind with smoke and shock,

This renewed our fear of what we forgot.

This was a chance

To weaken our land.

But we stood up,

And fought with our flag in our hand.


The author's comments:
Based on the horrid events that occured on 9/11, but it shows to the world how America will join together in times of need.
