When the light takes us
As the sun makes its last withdrawl
And the shadows cover, us one, us all
The violins of the Dead strike our heart
This was the ending from the start
I see the black, I smell the smoke
But the silence has since been broke
The peace of Death's symphony
The beauty of epiphany
I think not of life, nor Death
But of the notes in my last breath
The sound fades away into the night
As eyes see clear through the light
On the hill the angel stands
And lifts me up into his hands
The wings of black open around me
for some day, in this Death we all shall be
